The Holding
Hand
The holding hand
knows its happiness—
a woody bourbon;
a well-made tool;
or the warm secrets
of your body,
late at night.

DeleteEffectively homely and sensual. Like how familiar imagery is used here, feeling of stability and assuredness in these things as well. Very nice. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Raven--I think real love is only possible with the familiar.
DeleteI love this in all it's simplicity.
ReplyDeleteThanks Bjorn!
